"Busabong" is a servant in the house of Phraya Thammanurak. Busabong was under the care of Khunying Khae, the mother of Phraya Thammanurak. Meanwhile, Khun Soi, Phraya Thammanurak's wife, hated Busabong intensely and constantly harassed her. One day, Busabong met "Khun Kuea," who had escaped an arranged marriage and rented a house near the slave quarters. He refused to tell her the truth about his identity. The two developed feelings for each other, but Khun Soi ordered Busabong's assassination, framing her for Khunying Khae's murder. Busabong was then dumped in the slave quarters, but she survived and released the spirits of long-imprisoned slaves. She was rescued by Khunying Sopha and Phraya Phalakorn, the parents of Kuea, the fiancé of Saengchan, Phraya Thammanurak's daughter. Meanwhile, Khun Soi began to be tormented by the spirit of Mali, who had been imprisoned in the slave quarters. Eventually, the truth was revealed: she had murdered Khunying Khae, and her son and daughter were the children of a sorcerer. And he also harmed Mali, who gave birth to Luang Thammanurak's child, forcing her to commit suicide by jumping into the water.
