Wendy has that charisma that you just cannot deny. She is infectious. I miss her.

“Who here knows what ‘cotton mouth’ is” within the first 5 minutes of her first show ever  is so on brand for Wendy. God I miss her on daytime 😂😭

When she said, " This is the official greeting, how u doooin" I felt goosebumps 😢, a culture was born at that very moment!!! 6:29... man, I missed wendy !!

NO talk show on currently compares 🗣️

this is so sweet, i don’t think i’ve ever seen wendy this nervous.. she was hungry!!

She was great since day 1 bro

I was there when she had Vanessa Williams as a guest.

Wow I was 18 in 2008. What a great time to be alive when we witnessed the first black president in the white house.

This is a fabulous first show..😊  Even without Suzanne and Norman,  Wendy was holding her own 👊

During the first six week sneak peak, she was still on radio, so she would shoot during the day live, then go to radio for the 5pm slot until the show got picked up officially. Stacking that money lol most people couldn’t do what a lot of these tv personalities do, having to conserve so much energy just for entertaining. The thing with early Wendy is she didn’t just gossip, he intertwined a little comedy, with personal storytelling. She has a great ability to captivate tv viewers for an hour

She was made for this. There will never be another Wendy ever!!

I can’t believe she was apart of our lives on our screens everyday for years!! We really had a gem.
I can’t help but think wow, you can really she how sharp and on point she was back then and the first handful seasons. Those last ones and her now just makes me sad. Love You Wendy
Queen Of All Media ❤

Mike from Desperate Housewives being her first guest is random asf but I love

the first two seasons were talk show gold!

I miss her so much!!! Daytime isn't the same!! Can we say boring!!! Wendy gave us life

As soon as she said, "Who knows what cottonmouth is?" You knew this girl was different. Wendy had the right personality at the right time and the right place. If someone can help me, the very first episode I saw was when Jordan Sparks performed in a pink strapless top. I was channel flipping, and Jordan was my girl at the time. When she was finished, this big black woman joined her on the stag,  and I was so curious i ended up watching the remainder of that episode and then came back the next day just to see who this chick was, and every day for the next 12 years, Wendy was my way of life. She was the only way I even knew what was going on in the celeb world. I miss her so much and I truly hope we can get her back in some capacity once she is well enough ❤

This needs to be preserved in the Paley Center.

The beginning of a t.v legend!

Thank you for preserving history

Wow this is giving me all the feels. The way Ms. Wendy interacted with her audience was so much fun. She really included them in her Hot Topics from day one. We love you Wendy. ❤
