I love how you can practically feel the lady's terror at the end there. She has thrown a lot of people into the maw of this thing, some make it, some don't. But she's only ever seen the after-effects and whatever bits and pieces she can get from those who do live. Now she's going to get an up-close and personal look at exactly what those people went through, what she pushed them to go through.

There's no way I would have allowed myself to be locked in an old dark abandoned building alone - regardless of what that woman promised. In 4 months i will be 2 years alcohol free. No rehab. Daily intense exercise, meditation, music, friends and healthy eating.

Finally a movie that's not afraid to make completely crazy original audio effects.

Not just supernatural horror, but pure psychological terror… this one really got under my skin.

Came in comment section cause I am scared watching alone.

I've gone through addiction to several different drugs, and have gone through severe withdrawals from Xanax, from opioids, and Gabapentin/Pregabalin, and holy hell withdrawal from these are SO severe, I can't say I wouldn't damn my soul and memories of the last 13 years to get out of withdrawing.

I also must say I feel like a crusader in these comments. The amount of people bitching about the "inaccurate" portrayal of Suboxone and insisting that she swallowed it - when I see NO indication of that - just drive me up a wall, especially when this is clearly a work of fiction that is meant to just convey a general message, NOT be taken at face value as a literal documentary about drug addiction.

Don't let the negative comments affect your creativity and desire to keep filming!!

If i was offered a deal to get clean in 48 hrs, instead of WITHDRAWAL... I wouldve taken it in a heartbeat! (3 yrs clean)

Ok seriously this was the best horror short I've seen on here. It had everything I hoped for. Good acting, a solid backstory, a frightening premise. Well done, excellent job I loved it!! Five stars!

This would be one hell of a video game.

The scariest thing about this is the mesothelioma y'all are gonna get from that abandoned building.

I liked the plot, it solid and logically none contradictory which is a rare exception in horror movies.

This was awesome on so many levels!!! The irony that the deal was to not do drugs... in essence, a deal with the devil to actually erase the pain of those who've already fell into the trap... BUT the REAL coup de grâce is the fact that those who took the deal were never converted, and returned knowing God existed while being damned for making the deal in the first place... YET all the others who never returned died and would be stuck there while "not meant to be". So alas we have the ironic plot curve that the "Holy woman's" sin was that she was personally damning (wiping that smug look off their faces) the souls of those who took the deal for eternity, and torturing those who wouldn't, indefinitely.... therefore NOT such a "Holy woman" AT ALL, but believing she is (passing judgement by personally casting souls into hell)! She was damned from the start, but now will most definitely be taking "a deal" of some sort after being locked in there for a taste of her own medicine 💊... 😉

So much to unpack in such a tiny package!!! 📦

BRAVO!!!! This is BRILLIANT!!!!

One new short, on a VERY short list of my all time favorites!!!

KEEP IT COMING!!! 🙌 🎊 👏

I’ve been to rehab, currently with 5 years clean. This was spot on about the religious part of it. At least the one I went to push God as your higher power. Made everyone partake in bible studies. I’m not saying I don’t believe in God, but it shouldn’t be the tool used for sobriety. Everyone’s is different. Find what helps them and use that.

Oh god- I was on suboxone for a few months- and I ended up trading them for goodies.  I’ve been on methadone for about 7 years and am almost off now- I’ve been clean for the last 5 years, at least.  It would have been- different- with treatment like this!  Thanks for the film- I’m enjoying it so far, only about a quarter of the way in, but it’s really good quality, good acting, and it’s keeping me really interested in where it’s going.  Thanks again- I’d like to see more from you!

I'm a recovering addict. Been clean 12 years. This was by far the best horror short I've ever seen. Bravo 👏

It's refreshing to see how many previous addicts are watching this, now sober - including myself

Mind officially blown. Scary, thought-provoking, and clever. THIS NEEDS TO BE A FEATURE!!!!!!!

If I was offered to be clean in 48 hrs and not withdrawal or have to stay in rehab for months I'd take it. IDC what I have to do.

3 days sober and thankful that I haven't needed this treatment so far

genuinely iconic, feels a lot like a V/H/S segment.

a list of my fav moments (mostly for personal use)

12:12 wilhelm type scream "whoa, did you hear that?" more comically loud screams
13:58 big boss run
14:47 comically loud breathing "please i know youre there, i can hear you breathing </3" (also the folow up jumpscare is GENUINELY good <3)
