Lecture by Fernand Schwarz, founder of New Acropolis in France, anthropologist, philosopher, and writer. Recorded at Espace la Passerelle, Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
The word “shaman” originates from traditional Siberian societies. Current research in cognitive anthropology focuses on practices that lead to an altered state of consciousness in order to perceive and interact with a spiritual world, as well as to channel transcendent energies for the benefit of the community. 💨
⚖️ The shaman is a master, a regulator between order and disorder, and offers a unified and interconnected vision of the individual, stemming from a revitalized connection with the living world. This connection allows them to re-establish a link with the sensitive and sacred dimension of nature, from which our era has severed them. 🌱 Shamanism integrates the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects, approaching the individual holistically and demonstrating that our consciousness is far greater than the limited ego of our daily routine.
