We set off to bikepack across Bolivia as a queer couple, with no idea just how challenging and beautiful the journey would become.

From endless dirt roads and remote villages to towering mountains and the surreal Uyuni salt flats, Bolivia pushed us physically and mentally. The altitude was brutal, the roads were tough, and sometimes there was absolutely nothing for miles.

But alongside the exhaustion came incredible landscapes, unexpected encounters and so many kind people who made the journey unforgettable.

This is our bikepacking adventure through Bolivia; two bikes, one relationship, a lot of altitude, and a whole lot of nowhere.
