169: The Rainbow Connection

Debuted by Kermit the Frog in 1979's the Muppet Movie, this has always been one of my favorite songs that I've never even tried until today. I do remember singing this as a little kid with John DeSare playing guitar. Written by Paul Williams and Kenny Asher.

Wow!!! 👏👏👏The Muppet Movie was the first movie I took my daughter to see when she was 18 months old. Every time I hear The Rainbow Connection, I tear up remembering how special that day was for us.😢 Thanks Tony, your performance was absolutely beautiful!!!🎤🎼🎹💕😊
