teval is the face commander. i have no idea why everyone seems to think its kotis. every official source i can find lists teval as the face commander

Just got this as my first commander deck. I've never played a game outside of guided beginner box. Thank you for the explanation and strategy!!

Thanks! Played this deck tonight, came across an exile graveyard card 😢

Haven’t played Magic in several years and always wanted to try commander. Managed to find this deck for $48 on TCG Player so I appreciate your video to help me get a head start on learning it!

I was playing this last night against a mate, had my graveyard absolutely filled with tasty stuff to bring back.... THEN.... he hit ME with RISE OF THE DARK REALMS 😖🥴😬🤣🤣

I won with this deck last Saturday. I won by swinging a huge Consuming Aberrations and drawing + gaining life with it from Disciple of Bolas.

Im actually starting to play MTG, this video was helpful to understand the deck a little better. Thank you!

last night i played a game and my opponent was running a planeswalker deck and one of them made me mill 20 cards and i also had like 30 in the gy already so i had about 50 cards total in my graveyard and i thought i was gonna lose but then i got lord of extinction and jarad and instantly won, cause extinction was like +60/+60

Thanks for the video! Waiting for my deck to come in. Can't wait to try it out!

I had a lot of fun with this deck. I added Species gorger to trigger powerful ETB effects like Eternal Witness, I could keep grabbing powerful spell like causalities of war, creatures with death triggers, etc. all while benefited from Teval and the Teval’s Judgment enchantment. I was down to 7 life but then I was able to use Agent of Bolas to sacrifice a stacked Consuming Aberration to turn the game around

Thanks for the tips man! I've been having a lot of fun with this deck

For key #5 theres also a card that sacs a creature when it enters and you gain life for its power, hit that on a big boi than victimize than pay 3 to sac the big boi to deal damage to everyone. For about 6-9 mana you can flip the game even make everyone fold, did that and gained like 70 life while doing 81 damage to everyone. Undeniable claps.

There’s also land cards to watch out for that exile graveyards.

I think it's funny every card you focused on I  cut for better things.

Altars, plus gracecrawler goes infinite
The exile land elf plus strip mine and gravecrawler bye bye lands.
Hedge Shredder is amazinf

The deck can be a bit slow, but once it gets going it's boom time baby.

Kotis also has a caveat with his casting creatures from the graveyard ability also makes u exile 3 cards from ur graveyard, so they work great together to make a massive amount of tokens while also buffing kotis himself so u can swing wide and tall :0 4 druids being made per turn if u can bring a land back with teval and cast a creature from the grave with Kotis, plus the creatures u cast from the grave, so many creatures, God forbid u cast avenger of zendikar from the graveyard late game with 17 lands on the field, if they can't board wipe, in like 3 turns ur wiping the table haha

i played with tasigur as cmdr in this deck, also not bad

It's great to win by playing Living Death, then bringing out Lord of Extinction and then using another creature ability to sacrifice Lord of Extinction and then each opponent takes that amount of life damage lol

there are literally only 3 landfall cards in the whole deck?...

Is sin spiras punishment any good in this deck?

Multani with Jarad is disgusting in this deck. Sac Multani for HUGE damage, use his recast from the graveyard ability and do it again 🤯
Such a great deck that plays amazing out of the box
