I'm a Christian who hasn't been to Church in years. I still have a personal relationship with God and believe in the power of the  Atonement. I don't personally subscribe to the same view of Hell as most people, but instead believe that in place of punishment, the natural consequences of our life's decisions follow, and those are mainly a lesser share in the glory of the afterlife and an eternity knowing things could have been better.
I know, it's weird.

This was such a heartfelt ending. It wrecks me every time I see the girls break down and ask their mom to come give them a hug. They're such a beautiful family!

I really wish my own had turned out closer like that. I carry half the blame for that, though. All I can do is be there for my kids as much as they need me.

I took it bad losing so much after divorce. I sought numbness at the bottom of a bottle. By the time I found The Warning, I was drinking 18 beers a night. Within 3 days of finding them, I'd completed their catalog. Within 2 weeks, I'd bought a bass, amp, and piano. I'd never really played music, but I felt inspired to.

I started playing 1 - 2 hours a night, and since I couldn't play worth a crap with alcohol in my veins, I quit drinking cold turkey two weeks after finding this band back in May of this year.

Since then, I've learned several songs, played nearly every night, watched countless reactions, amassed a collection of vinyl with a nearly-complete stereo system (just waiting to afford an amplifier), seen them live in ABQ, bought pit tickets to CDMX and San Antonio and Houston. My next step is to find someone to play with.

The Warning's music and story inspired me to make life-saving changes in my life. I'll follow them all my life.

I never understood how someone could suffer an anxiety attack. Until I suffered my first attack. I just assumed that it was just a thought or thoughts that you could just ignore and they would go away.  It’s not.

I suffered a really devastating panic attack about 20 years ago. I climbed into bed and instantly felt as though I was falling down an endless pit. I honestly thought that this was death and went it wasn't, the feeling I experienced made me want to die to escape it. The only way I found that I could escape the feeling, temporarily, was to stare at a fix point like a light or a candle, until I fell asleep. It took several years for me to rid myself of the thoughts. It really is the worse thing I've ever experienced

One of the best interviews ever done with the Sisters!!!  The Ladies were so comfortable sitting down with Josh, like a family dinner.  Fact is, you will never ever see anything like this in your life with 3 incredible Rock Stars....this is a unicorn moment for all of us. Damn if they did not get me teary eyed.  They are a blessing in my life.  I am with Paulina on this...what I believe as well and I am a whole lot closer to that reality than these young women.  Thanks Dave.  Can we just say it one more time....it is not just the talent and great music...it is abundantly who the Ladies are, that is the "X" factor here.  Don't need to hear their great music all the time...just watching and listening to them makes my day, they are that incredible.

The scene from the movie "Get Out" that Dany was referencing is where a man is hypnotized, and when commanded to "sink into the floor", he experiences himself sinking through the sofa, through the floor, and into a dark, empty, muted void where he has no control over his body or anything else. Though he screams for help, nobody can hear him.

Dany is saying she fears that death might be like that, like your soul or consciousness is floating powerless in a dark, solitary eternity.

I've been an atheist since I read the Bible cover to cover at age 11. For me, not believing in an afterlife frees me from the fear of dying. We have our time here, and we have to try to do something with it.

There's no reason to be sad fir them because of their beliefs or lack if. I find that to be condescending and judgemental.  

Allison Hagendorf's interview is awesome as well. Jack Sang's too. But this is far better than I expected.

I agree, I need to watch more of Josh's interviews.  He's really good.

And...Dany, Pau, and Ale did it to me again.  I even knew how it was going to end, but Dany still made my cry.

This doesn't mean we don't believe in what the Bible tells us or in our religion. Faith has been a journey for me. As a young stubborn catholic boy I didn't listen much to anyone. Parents, teachers, friends, cops, judges! At 65, my personal experiences are from the school of hard knocks. Some things need to be proven! I was wrong about so much. I now see and hear. The Warning are no mistake. They have a purpose. To bring us together, to be kind, to respect one another, to help one another. To work hard and be proud of who we are and where we come from. Sound familiar! I can't imagine dying and then nothing. I can't wrap my head around that. I do believe in the afterlife as laid out in the Bible.

When Paulina said" Nos Vemos del otro lado", is the Mexican and Azteca way of our ancestors to say goodbye...End of story..

The three most important things for us Mexicans are in this interview dude..death,food and family..the most..

Here's what I got from this interview, bottom line: My love and respect for these ladies was not misplaced! They are a truly impressive trio of sister-women. The bond between Pau and Ake and the admiration with which Dany observes them makes me emotional.

For many reasons, I believe that our soul lives on.

I've seen this 5-6 times already. The ending always makes me cry. They are all so genuine and nice. Absolutely no bullshit. I agree that this is the best interview, but Zach Sang and Allison Hagendorf are also excellent. Josh is a wonderful interviewer. I've subscribed to the channel after watching this and have already seen 4-5 very good interviews: Tom Hanks, Gillian Anderson, Josh Johnson, Hugh Jackman, Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
I was struck by the fact that Ale finds the lights and noise onstage overwhelming.... yet dreams of playing a tour consisting of massive stadium dates. Interesting dichotomy!🤔
Unfortunately for me, I don't believe in a creator or an afterlife. I admit that believing that the particles that make up the universe have been in existence forever is a tough concept to grasp. But to believe that there is a creator that has been "there" forever is also difficult to grasp. And why would I want to believe in a creator who allows so many horrible things to happen to decent people? So I'll stick with my belief that we exist in a universe that is random and doesn't care whether we exist or not. However, I still believe there are more good people than bad and we can strive to make the world a better place for ourselves and for those that come after. I just don't see the need to bring a supernatural being into the picture.

Yes, a great interview,  indeed. Have rewatched it multiple times. And, yes experiencing panic attacks is so  debilitating, stifling, and destructive - I've also dealt with it.
I personally feel Pau nails it - there was nothing before we were here, (the void) and there'll be nothing when we pass - no need to feel sad for her because her idea and explanation doesn't align with your biblical perspective or perception.

I was leading a group for substance abusers who were terminally ill, on the theory that death was the last chance to break their denial.  In one early session I asked the members what they wanted to do in their last months.  One guy said there was some business dealings he wanted to wind up.  Then one week he wasn't there.  He'd been taken to the hospital because he had gone catatonic.  Two weeks later he came out of it and returned.  At the next group, I asked him right off to tell the group what happened.  He was chuckling.  "It finally hit me," he said, "that I'm really dying.  And I didn't know how to act!  What are you supposed to do, when you realize you're dying?"  I asked him about his earlier statement, about wanting to wind up some business, but halfway through he was already waving it off.  "That was BS," he said.  And then he looked at me, and said, "I want to apologize to my family."  It's worth mentioning that he was the last survivor of the group.

I believe that what is real cannot be harmed or threatened, and what is not real is not real.  Death, especially as we approach it, helps us clarify which is which.  And what's real will endure, and what's not will not.  And that's the name of that tune.

Allison Hagendorf is the OG of interviewers. She has done 3 with The Warning 2023, 2024, and the one now all worth the watch.

Knowing that they were at least raised as Catholics, and that they often pray and cross themselves before going on stage, I think they addressed the question of “What do you think happens when you die” from the point of view of consciousness, not from a religious or spiritual perspective.  Also, I think they consciously avoid discussing things like religion or politics, which can often be divisive or controversial, and I admire them for that.
