Everyone here is talking about poor Billy and how twisted the Regime Superman got. But not enough are appreciating just how much of a chad the actual Superman is. His biggest concern isn't just fighting an evil version of himself but search and rescue, actively assisting other heroes and subduing the heavy hitters BEFORE his bad self. He refers to his team as a group, not an extension of himself. He gives his foes a chance to reconsider their actions. Superman is the purest example of what a hero can strive for, uncorrupted no matter the scenario
I feel like this ending disproves the "Injustice doesn't understand Superman" allegations. Like, seeing the real Superman come in and save the day in a way that feels very true to his character is very cathartic, and I think that's the point in a way.
I don’t blame Superman for killing the Joker one bit. It’s everything he did afterwards that made him into a tyrant. Though if you ask me, Wonder Woman was the real villain. She took advantage of pain and grief and manipulated him into becoming a tyrant. If it wasn’t for her, Superman probably would have taken Batman’s advice, take time to grieve properly and would’ve stayed true to himself.
Regime Superman was always seen as the central antagonist and his descent into tyranny sparked by the tragic loss of Lois Lane and his unborn child. however the True Villain that is lurking in the shadows was Wonder Woman whose unwavering encouragement of his more authoritarian tendencies that steers him down the dark path. while Superman’s grief and idealism make him vulnerable. it was Wonder Woman’s manipulation tactics and and relentless support of his harsher decisions that transform from Superman into the world’s brightest beacon of Hope into it’s darkest oppressor and Wonder Woman’s quiet yet pivotal extensive influence ensures that his moral decline is as much hers as it is his.
Worst changes of the Injustice movie: 1. Flash, you know what happened 2. Our Superman lost to Injustice Superman 3. Plastic Man didn't stretch up Supernan's pant leg when he wasn't looking and give him a permanent inside out colonoscopy.
In this game I love how they have Superman look like Christopher Reeves, Batman look like Christian Bale, and Lex Luthor looks like Bruce Willis but sounds just like Gene Hackman. Awesome references!
A lot of people forget that Joker KNEW it was a suicide game to go after Superman. He knew if Superman killed him, it would tear the hero community apart. Especially the Justice League. And especially Superman's relationship with Batman.
The Injustice story nothing else but the Joker's victory. He's the only character in this story who got want he wanted.
Also the Regime Superman lost the fight because he was out of practice. Superman never really had a legitimate challenge for a long time up until our Superman came. The proof is literally watching Our Superman beat Doomsday before fighting him, and then beating him too.
15:00 Injustice Barry looked at Prime Earth Ollie with a smile and then Ollie salutes back. He fought against the regime in the last moments, realizing Shazam’s death was too far. Makes me think Shazam would’ve been a fine addition to the insurgency
But becoming a despot, a tyrant, killing Billy, planning to flatten his own home AND Gotham…he really has become the worst version of himself.
