ATC: -Say speed.
Pilot: -Speed.

"possible pilot deviation?" Bruh, I'm not even a pilot!

I gotta say the Boston controllers were extremely patient with this crew.

It sounded like a different pilot took over after that period of silence, and he had a better grasp of English.

ATC- Turn right 5 degrees
FBL - Can you give me a heading
ATC - What is your heading?
FBL - umm 035 degrees
ATC- FBL turn to heading 040 degrees
LOL

After 3 minutes, I couldn't maintain the agony.

The controllers were awesome in this. They understood the pilot wasnt getting it, and they were very clear with instructions. They machine gunned instructions to the other 2 pilots and knew they were on the same page.

Listening to this exchange is like getting a wisdom tooth extracted without anesthesia.

“He’s a menace to everything in the air!  … Yes, birds too!”

Clearly 2 different pilots on the radio. The second one seemed to have a clue.

Honestly when he's flying right at downtown Boston after the missed approach you have think the controller had a few shivers up the spine. 99% incompetency but still you never know in this world

The slow communication in combination with the short-term memory issues lead me to believe that fatigue might be at play here.

I’m like “dude he’s asking you what your altitude is. I’m not even a pilot and I know that.”

It's a damn sight easier understanding what Boomhauer's saying when you've got burned-in subtitles, mind

After the phone number, and perhaps after the other pilot noticed what was going on, and maybe had to explain to him what it was...he sounded the rest of the flight like a whipped puppy on the verge of crying. I wonder what the hell was going on in that cockpit at the various times. Then there was the landing gear issue. (Was that real, or just something they were told to say if they needed an excuse?) Then the other pilot came on and took over, and he sounded pissed. Must have been a bad day all around in there.

Imagine being a passenger and watching this afterwards 😳

As Roseanne Roseannadanna said on SNL, it's always something. If it isn't one thing it's another!

That first pilot was either fatigued, drunk or drugged! 😵‍💫

Flights that log online show nothing outside Brasil as far back as can see.

Your instructions exceeded the limits of his english skills.
