i think this is the exact interview this album needed. relaxed, casual and real. possibly the best interview i've ever seen, genuienly. ella came across so relaxed and so passionate about her work, i adored this

THIS is why I love Lorde, this is the kind of promo I love to see. First time listening to this show, what a beautiful but simple concept, I'm hoooked, I am devouring this show from now on

Since I was 14, every lorde album has been a beautiful curation of references and feelings, I love her so much, I will always trust her vision and the way she goes through life

holy hell you introducing lorde to my FAVORITE song of... maybe all time? smoke sprite?!?! day made.

11:00 Lorde listens to Smoke Sprite ft. RM of BTS

I feel cooler just watching both of you. Gonna need a playlist from this.

This is my new guilty pleasure show been here for hours now 😂😭

holy shit i didn’t expect to see smoke sprite here !

Derrickkk, there's so much time in every episode of Solid air. You slow time down which is such a special things in this fast fast world. Thank you so  much for sharing these moments with us. we all are grateful, really!
I have got so many beautiful songs in my life because of you. Glad to know you! You are a beautiful, good friend.

33:24 imagine madonna IS SOO BIG that her "underground stuff or deep cuts" like Fever are well charted hits

Crashed out when you guys played that Elizabeth Fraser and Jeff Buckley demo ;-( happy for this show

28:36 this is why Lorde is a genius

This is the coolest idea for any type of interview/conversation surrounding music

This was amazing .. truly .. congratulations Derrick

These are the kind of interviews that help build up an understanding of what artists are trying to deliver with their projects, and that's all I ever want. It brings more power to the work. I've been a Lorde fan since The Love Club EP before the release of Pure Heroine, and her music and her music taste as informed my own. Music is exciting and educational, this kind of reverence makes me so invested. I'd love to do something like this and pick through the music I've loved for years.

SMOKE SPRITE 😭😭😭

Lorde’s suggestions are all 10/10, wow. Love her forever
