The most obscure punish is having to fight Dahlsim

I Think we gotta make it a meme, when broski goes "I don't know optimal [character] combos" and then does like 185601275% damage to the bot and the damage overflows to somebody else's ranked match and they instantly die

Shout outs to the chat suggesting Tundra Storm during the Dee Jay segment, then the cut to when the chat says that Tundra Storm sucks.

Obscure punishes were my childhood

Shoutout to people who lab Dhalsim punishes, very cool tech for a character you’ll fight once or twice a month (if even that)

13:20 I recoiled like an abused dog

"I can barely remember a thing" does shit i didn't even know was possible
Nice

6:29 Lol my guilty gear brain said "why not just do another DI and then RC to force burnout with Di/super"

Two more well known examples are Jamie SA1 and Juri SA1. For Jamie you hold up forward as soon as you have started blocking it and you will jump behind him and leave him -80 or so.
Against Juri you have to block the first 2 reps of her fireballs before you forward jump to side switch and make her more minus.

Broski: I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO COMBOS

Also Broski: BEGINS TO DO DAMAGING COMBOS WITH CHARACTERS WITH MOST OF THE CAST

2:49 +102 is nuts man. +10 is already deemed all you need!

A good punish against Honda players is to ask them what he got in the last patch

Something very simple (and probably not very useful for higher level play) as Ryu is heavy tatsu against Rashid's charged tornado. If you see Rashid charging his projectile even from full screen, you can heavy tatsu on reaction and as Rashid is stuck until he throws his tornado, you'll get a punish counter. If you're at the right distance (which is roughly full screen but is quite lenient), you even get a juggle with H.DP-->LVL3 which is A LOT of damage.
Very specific stuff compared to the video but thought I would still share !

The interaction between DI and a stray projectile also applies to Dhalsim's OD arcing fireball. If you've gotten a hit, but the fireball is bouncing towards you, you can DI it and get the cinematic. It even works if you've already just hit them with DI, meaning you can get two cinematic DI's in one combo.

They better not patch that Blanka setup out. Fucked up mix like this is great when the strategy against it is this cool.

Broski your videos genuinely make my day better. Thank you for making such high quality and in-depth content for us nerds :)
