I used to watch this religiously and cried horribly when Joan passed. An episode with Ru is just what I needed.

This is how Joan supported Ru. To anyone watching this, it would seem different than what it was. Joan is from a generation, where no one would have supported this. She was so progressive her entire life. A real gem. ♥ Willing to breach subjects that no one else would touch with a ten-foot pole. Love her. Wish her spirit well. Wish her family well. Amen. ♥

I think Ru is right. The window was open when this was filmed. You can feel the window is closing again.

This is giving To Wong Foo when Noxeema and Clara sat next to each other and bonded for the first time.

12:01 what Ru says here is so smart and applies to what the US is going through now with all the hatred, orange phukface in office, etc. I watch this interview OVER AND OVER - it’s such a brilliant and hilarious episode.

Seeing Joan and Rupaul warms my heart. I miss her and fashion police. Thanks for posting these Melissa. As my daughter said about me, Joan was one of one.
