Yes, in this video we look at how Gran Turismo 4 differs between each local version; NTSC-J for Japan, NTSC-U for North America and PAL for Europe and Australia...and also the NTSC-K version for South Korea!
I hadn't played through all the versions of GT4 for this channel like I did with GT3, so I had to go out and research to see what was different. And of course there's going to be things I missed, like how for PAL it says America in GT Mode and USA for NTSC-U.
But I found some obscure and random facts too, so hopefully you'll learn something new!

The "race commentary" is no more than narrator commenting about the target car's specifications and history, hence the option being called "Narration", it's kind of similar to the early NFS games where you can showcase cars and hear a voiceover explaining their specs and history.
The narration you hear at 5:27 is about the Honda TAKATA DOME NSX (JGTC)'s history and its specs.
In this scene, it is explained what kind of racing car Honda built in response to the 2003 JGTC regulations.
A featherweight, naturally aspirated car down on torque compared to other cars in its class, and making its peak power right where it bounces off the rev limiter. Winning with it entails mastering transmission tuning.
Japanese version has Mini Cooper 1.3 '98 which is absent in PAL and US versions
The pictures of IS200 GT1 (real car) is included in some Korean promotional discs. I'm thinking the Korean flag on that car is a mistake by PD because you give countries to the cars in the database so there is a chance they put the wrong number in that cell

Aaaaaaaaaand this video also got over 100 likes VERY fast so...I'm going to research another GT game for more regional changes!
This one was a long time in the making! If the video hits 100 likes I'll look at another GT game and see how it was changed internationally!
