Political activist Ibrahim el Sakr appeared on an episode of the program "Bi Arda" on Pen Media with journalist Ricardo Chidiac, where he revealed that "Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Mosque is encroaching on land belonging to the endowment of the Maronite Archdiocese of Beirut," asking, "Does His Eminence the Sheikh know that he is praying on usurped land?"

On the Christian level, he said that "Lebanon without the Christian component will turn into a market like Al-Hamidiyah," citing the scene on the Champs-Élysées after Pope Leo XIV's visit to France.
