Interesting fact. When the spanish conquistadors first came to South America they didn't know the natives couldn't grow beards. So they saw these clean faced guys and thought they were women with bows. Thinking they found the missing Amazon tribes they named the forest after the Amazon warriors.

I don't comment on many videos. But I have to say I appreciate that within half a second of starting the video you are already into the content. No intro no splash graphic, no padding, no treating the viewer like an idiot.

Another interesting thing about the sperm whales and giant squids is that the giant squid has the largest eye on the planet by like double. The reason this deep sea dweller needs those big eyes in the darkness of the deep ocean is because sperm whales hunt giant squid, but they also hunt down where there is bioluminescent life as well. So the giant squids eyes are so big because they watch for the blinking on of biolumincence as the whales bump into the creatures. Like a black ghost slinking through the night, a subtle outline of sparkling blue races toward you, hunting you, that is the life of the giant squid. Pretty cool

Ray Robinson (Charlie no-face) actually lived in a small town about 30 miles outside Pittsburgh called Beaver Falls. My dad grew up there. Ray would let young people party on his farm in exchange for them getting groceries, beer, cigarettes, etc for him (this was in the 1970s).
   My mom told me how nervous she was the first time she was with dad and they picked Ray up during a walk  and dropped him off at his place.

5:08 - I worked with a lady from Newfoundland. She said she grew up hearing stories from the sailors of them witnessing battles between sperm whales and giant squid. Most people laughed and said it was sailor stories. But it was proven true.

My guess is that in ancient times. At least once, a giant squid mistook a large wooden ship as a sperm whale and attacked it.
