This is an "outdoor" channel... so while it mostly covers my Wild Camping and Hiking adventures, it's been nice and sunny lately so I've also been having a bit of a play with my Kayaks. so there's been a lot of Kayak coverage lately :)

Please consider subscribing if you enjoyed this content and let me know what you think about the kayak videos below...  I know I've lost a few subscribers over them, but I do get up to lots of different outdoor activities and wanted to break things up a bit :)

PLEASE make more camping + kayaking videos, been looking for such videos for so long but no one is doing it:(

Thanks !!!

Appreciate this video! Just subscribed, hope to see more of your adventures

Another great video, mate!  Can't wait to get out in one and see what they're like.

Thanks, I ordered the Oru Bay model cant wait to try it.

Nice job highlighting the oru Lake for arguably one of its best features….mobility.

I would add your weight for better understanding of how close one can be to the 250lb / 113.3kg maximum load.

I have both the Lake and Inlet. I got the Inlet first but feel the Lake is my go to kayak. It is super light for a 66-year-old woman. I did get the backpack. I want to get a light tent. I live in NJ but may fly South to go kayaking. This is easy check-on luggage.

Nice vid. I just saw someone using this on Cape Cod yesterday. I checked online and found your video. I’m really interested. I’m wondering if you still recommend now a year later. Thanks.

Would that keep balance if you used it while hauling  some heavy objects like water jugs in that?

I've seen some videos of using ORU and practicing in event it flips over. Curious if that is something you have tried in maybe shallow area or a pool and what was your experience.

What’s it like on the lakes when the wind gets up?

Getting the back put together is almost physically impossible with my small hands. This is the achilles heel of this boat in my opinion. I got it once but it was a struggle. Now I'm trying it again & it's still a struggle. Having something be a huge struggle is sort of a buzzkill as far as wanting to do a fun excercise...

5:21  I would not recommend getting in this kayak like that. Make sure that it doesn't scrape the bottom. You can easily damage the bottom. Make sure it is fully in float before you sit otherwise you can puncture the bottom.

You need to set a good example and wear a life jacket.
