That actually looks like a JRX2 with the pro conversion

JrXPro was my first race kit I bought when I was a kid. I wanted an RC10 Team Car but Tower Hobbies was out of stock so they talked me into buying a JrXPro. I was happy they did and I never looked back. I didnt get my first RC10 until last spring. I bought a few off of Ebay recently. Restored one for the shelf and one for the track. I put my surplus parts and a whole JrXPro with vintage electronics back on Ebay right now.

I had a Losi Junior 2 in the early 90's and sold it a few years later like an idiot! It's amazing how good all Losi products handle no matter what you do to them, I raced mine on a concrete course with jumps and finished 2nd the very first time I raced! Amazing buggy, surprised I hadn't bought another Losi buggy yet!

The gear and motor cover is pretty cool

I have a jrx2 that’s never hit the track and is 99% box art. You’ll love diving into these.

Steering looks original from what i remember

The gear over looks like it's for the hydradrive conversion. Nice car.

That SCR battery pack looks brand new. Don't see that too often.

Nice addition to your collection. Totally agree with you on boxart design, it looks awesome but that brown/copper/white looks cool too.

I had to comment again when you said you've never played with the gearing. I mean! that's hardcore OEM style! respect

Sweet buggy, I have a XXX with all of the kinwald hop ups, I love Losi stuff.

Original shocks were not teflon coated.
The pro came with graphite plate frame.
(Original owner, raced it)

Man....that is SUPER clean. Bit jealous brother. I am re-falling in love with Losi again as I pick them up. Great job as usual.

Can't believe I had all of these and the rc 10! Can't even tell you where they ended up

I just found your channel a few days ago. I'm digging everything you're doing, subbed! The red steering parts look like RPM. I think Losi came up with the 5 link to show (1) there's other ways to make it work and (2) we didn't just copy the RC10. The Trinity motor (if it doesn't have adjustable timing) is 27 turn for stock class. Anything less was considered to be modified class. The guy you got this from was a hard-core racer on a budget! I never had one of these but I raced against them with my RC10.
