The sad thing is, if you switch the roles between Bucky and Sam it works perfectly.
Bucky has a lot of insecurities about being new Cap, due to the past as a Winter Soldier. He has to deal with suspicion an potentially even hostility from the people he fights for.
Meanwhile Sam as a vet who worked at VA is good with talking to people. He could pursue political career to genuinely help people (make senators "do better"). He would be fighting for regular U.S. militarymen and be the most vocal supporter of Bucky as new Cap.
Think about all the potential espionage and political thriller stories that could be written with this setup.

I just wanna say I love that Little Platoon was inspired by Efap, made a channel and through effort it got bigger, and now hes a regular guest on Efap

You shouldn't call him Captain Falcon.

Captain Falcon is not some goofy C tier superhero. He's one of the greatest F-Zero racers in the galaxy!

Hideo Kojima confirming he was confused by this movie was even funnier to me.

"Its the president. He appears to be jammed"

"Raspberry...there is only one man who would dare give me the Raspberry..."

I guess we're adding "Red Hulk Jelly" and "Brown Slop" to the EFAP grocery store

Fringy’s laughing fits is the only thing that brings me joy in life

Shoutout to everyone who first requested Platoon as a guest, what a great call holy shit

Disney: so what you're saying is, if we were to write a good script first, we could get away with shooting the movie once instead of twice and actually make money? 🤔

Mystery or brown, that is the question

Wolverine is going to be really awesome with his adamantium after there's an entire fucking island of the stuff and some random henchman has an adamantium knife before this movie even starts.

Fringy laughed so hard it ejected a Simpsons memory out of his brain

People always excuse Disney reshoots by saying, “It’s just a part of filmmaking! All films have reshoots!”
While that’s generally true, most films reshoot for minor reasons: adding a scene, covering for a plot hole, ADR, or other small pick-ups.
On the other hand, Disney will rewrite its entire script through reshoots or use them to change a plot point that fans are aware of before release. They’ll film a movie, show it to focus groups and reshoot anything that isn’t well-received, only to release a jumbled mess of three completely different stories rolled into one.

I am imagining a post credit scene after Endgame. "Competent writing will not return in the next Marvel movie".

53:10 Rag's: "The average is like 70%?"
The typical expected 2nd week drop off for all movies is around 40%. Big blockbusters have a higher drop because of FOMO.
The average MCU Infinity Saga drop was around 55%, ranging low 40s to low 60s.
The average Phase 4 rose to about 65%. They were all pretty much around the mid 60s.
Guardians and D&W both scored low/mid 40% drop. The rest have been (and likely will be, with Thunderbolts) around 70%.

It's gradually getting worse, overall.

I quite literally tuned in live and was met with "I would like everyone to pee now!".

I like that Bucky shows up and then leaves without attempting to aid Sam against Hulkison Ford...also I doubt anyone remembers this but Amadeus Cho's mother appeared in Age of Ultron...also wild they cut Elijah a character ACTUALLY tied to Captain America but kept Sabra

Something constant that Steve had to deal with is the question "is it the serum that made him special "
From Toney to red skull to the other soldiers during WWII,  there is always this underlying question... is Captain America the serum or the man?

From movie one, this gets answered from several people starting with the gentleman who chose him... he saw the inherent strength of Steve Roger's character... and dies quickly before anyone else can see what he did.

Government uses him as propaganda and Steve famously sees himself as a "dancing monkey " through his illustrations.  Seen as a joke and fraud by the active duty and constantly reminded of his position by the brass.

It isn't until he breaks rank, solos a yazi base and proves himself that everyone else starts to see past the serum... past the propaganda... they see Steve.

This theme continues through Avengers as he proves his worth to Tony, Natasha and thor... and succeeded.
It's pushed to its limits when it's Steve that gets through to bucky and not cap. It's Steve that Sam connected to not the icon...

It's pointed out again in ultron that he still worries about his worth as Cao through Scarlett witch messing with his mind and him wondering... am I more than just a soldier?

On and on, Steve proves that the serum didn't define him, HE defined Captain America.  Captain America is great because of Steve.

So just acting like it's a title and that anyone who its given to just demand the same respect?
Screw that. Captain America didn't make Steve great, Steve made Captain America great.

1:31:45 The original plan was to kill Ross off. During reshoots, Ford expressed a desire for more jelly. He'll now be returning in Avengers: Goonsday.
