I have been changing my own oil for about 40 years and every time I do it, I make a mess! I did it last fall and the dam wind started blowing. Other times i move the oil catch pan to fast and spill the oil, or drop the oil filter and make a huge splash! Good Video.

Thanks for the video.  I did exactly this and now the oil filter housing is leaking very slowly.  I think that I did everything correctly including the 18-foot lbs of torque on the filer housing.  I am fairly mechanically inclined so I can not understand why this is happening.  This is my first BMW, FYI.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.
