I´m in Naples/Italy at the Slotcar World Championship from NSR in scale 1/32 with classic cars like Porsche 908, Porsche 917/10 or Lola T280/290. My Team from ‪@slotcarstore‬ Electric Dream Team with no#56 had a hard race! The car was with the given out Motor extremely slow and at night we were curious that many teams had no light...! Finally we finished on P19 with a massive Gap of a few hundred rounds to the winner Team Zoo from Naples.

‪@nsrslotcars‬ organised a great and big event again. It was stunning to meet driver from all over the world!

What an amazing event!
Slot cars and I go all the way back to the 60s, off and on.. only we raced 24th scale on wooden tracks.
The one who de-slots the least has the best chance of winning.
Hope you did well.

It looked like a grate event to be involved in. The light kits were a huge problem. But the organiser was aware of the problem. I don’t understand the power problems drivers had. Was it the track or controllers or the power supply problem it needs to be sorted for the next event. A grate coverage thank you.

I see it's the same stuff as used to happen 15\20 years ago Michael, rules being changed to suit certain teams. Unfortunate but it's the same old story. Oh well. Thanks for posting the video's guy.

I don't know if my good friend Niemas, ever realized that the light kits where defective in construction. The rules specified that you could only use the NSR light-kit, but they all burned out in a matters of minutes. The version-2 introduced the week before the race did not fix the problem as expected. We burned 4 kits before we stopped using the PWN controllers, then it seemed to hold up for the rest of the race.
Also before race start it was announced that all sanctions towards lights On or Off was removed. If you chose to race without light, which was very difficult, it was your choise. If you needed to change a defective light-kit, you where promised a 5 lap bonus, however that never happended either.
