In Episode 46 of Uncertain, D.L. takes on the NBA legend’s new honor and the backlash that followed. Shaquille O’Neal has built a reputation for giving back to the community he comes from. So when Patel handed him an honorary FBI badge, D.L. Hughley had a question: What does Shaq gain by lending his name to this administration? In Episode 46 of Uncertain, D.L. goes in on the honor, Shaq’s response to the backlash, and the difference between supporting law enforcement and giving political leaders a photo op.
Then he turns to Mississippi, where a grand jury declined to bring charges in the death of Nolan Wells. The finding says his death was consistent with drowning, while the medical examiners left the cause and manner undetermined. For Wells’ family, the questions are far from over.
And what was Converse thinking? After an ad drew comparisons to KKK and lynching imagery, the company pulled it and apologized. D.L. asks how an image like that made it through the room in the first place.
Was Shaq’s badge a harmless honor or a bad call? Does the grand jury decision answer the questions about Nolan Wells? Watch, tell us where you stand in the comments, and subscribe for D.L.’s unfiltered take on the stories everyone’s arguing about.

Rich people want to be famous.
Rich and famous people want to be powerful.
Anyway, whoever wants Shaq can have him at this point.
Receiving anything from a dishonorable source taints it.
