“Where’s Nia”???? She graduated UCLA, wrote 2 books, won a national title, went to the white house, has brand deals, is in lifetime movies, was on a daytime soap opera for 2 years after only being a guest star… WHAT IS ABBY TALKING ABOUT

I feel like Nia doesn’t even know the true impact her and her mom made back then ♥️ the classiest, kindest, most beautiful souls.

I find it so insane that Abby went though jail-time, cancer and being wheelchair bound but never had a character arch. you’d think those life experiences would humble a person but no.

Silent listener here. I gasped when I saw Nia - what an amazing guest! I saw Nia a couple of years ago at Disney. I was 21 and still in shock. I saw her, even at my grown age, and she was so beyond nice. She took pics with us and just gave us the time of day on her personal day. Nothing but amazing things to say about Nia

Thank you for giving her the platform, I see so many Youtubers glamorizing Abby Lee Miller lately when she is known for abusing children it’s disgusting.

Dance moms is such a perfect case study for privilege and racism manifests in real life. I dont resent any of the things given to Maddie - I adore Maddie - I just always wonder how Nia, Kenzie, Paige, Cameron, Brynn, Brooke, and Chloe would have thrived with the same nurturing. Meeting Nia as a little girl and watching her shrink to protect herself - then having to stand up to someone who should have been her champion. That’s almost too real a depiction of what black girlhood is like. No matter how nice or sweet you are - the world will take a toll on you and then rebuke you for not smiling through it. Seeing Nia so healed and happy is so heartwarming. I feel the same way watching Chloe. They all deserve healing and happiness. Thanks for having Nia on.

I'm a black woman. I definitley thought 'Why in the world would Nia and her Mom stay on the show!?!?' when I seen the racist costumes abby put her in 😱 HORRIFIC. Hearing Nia's perspective really makes things make sense for me. I grew up in the arts and it's very common to percieve a teacher's behavior as 'tough love' especially if the teacher is esteemed and you think they can help you reach success. I trusted so many adults who made me feel terrible because I admired their talents and aspired to become like them. I went through things that I cringe at now as an adult, but I didn't realize they were wrong as a child. I imagine it would be so hard for Nia's mother to pull her out, when Nia percieved this as her dream. Her dance family, and her pathway to success. I'm sure Nia would have been devastated by being pulled out as well. Then you think of the financial aspect of being able to set your child up with savings from the show and the opportunity to be recognized by others in the industry who may have healthier work opportunities for her. It would be a very difficult decision as a parent I think. I'm glad Nia has healed. She's handled so much crap with so much grace.

14:54 if a woman offers you 10,000 dollars to NOT work with a performer, they obviously have something very special

I feel like all the stuff that Abby said to Nia hit Trish so much harder being a girl mom, like she seemed so visibly angry going over her notes on what Abby did to Nia

"Where is she at now... DISNEY??" Like ma'am why are you still talking about kids you taught!! And where are you and what are you doing Abby?!?!?!

I love how Dr Holly was the classiest mom on the show. Nia and her were so strong. I loved watching them persevere. So glad to see that Nia is thriving!! Go off queen!
