ok I already put this in the video but I feel the need to reiterate that this headcannon has NOTHING to do with Ruggie's race or Skin tone. there has been a lot of racism in the TWST community that has been a recent conversation topic online. this is extremely important because racism was never and will never be ok. A big part of this topic is the treatment of the Savannaclaw and Scarabia characters. People have pointed out a dehumanization of Savannaclaw. While this video follows the Ruggie Cannibal hc, it has nothing to do with his representation as a poc, and everything to do with him being a hyena beastman. I have always been fascinated with animalistic traits in hybrid characters and how far you can push traits from the core animal onto a hybrid. As such I feel a deep fascination with the idea that as hyenas the beastmen around ruggie could be more easily swayed to cannibalism, especially because of the lore leaving most hyena beastmen in such poverty to the point of starvation. I find the hc fascinating, but in no way want to push and racist stereotypes or beliefs. If I have any poc ask me to take this down because they find it perpetuates the racism in the TWST fandom I will gladly do so, encouraging harassment or mistreatment is the last thing I want to do on my page
