Tzu Chi celebrates its 60th anniversary with global gatherings. This year's performance of the Buddhist scriptures at the Taipei Arena was a highlight. Besides the tens of thousands of volunteers participating in each show, it featured numerous performing arts groups, such as U-Theatre and Tang Mei-yun Taiwanese Opera. Another group, the Dharma Essence Theatre Troupe, composed of professional actors, wasn't there to compete for leading roles, but to truly bring the Dharma into people's hearts. Although their segments were the most detailed and detailed, they were also the most important, because they used relatable dialogue and movements to show everyone that the Dharma is not distant, but close at hand in the human world.
