What didn't make sense to me about the Mulan movie, even as a kid, is how Mulan is upset that she doesn't get a choice but no one does. She's taking her father's place in the war because he has no choice but to go and die.

Look up original folk's tale 'ballad of muhlan', it says plainly it is about state of danger, not self-determination. She doesn't enjoy this. That's why she refuses reward from Emperor and returns home. Frankly, that story is quite tragic and sad.

It literally closes with :
“The male hare normally hops and runs,
while the female sits and stares.
But both flee fast when danger threatens.
How can one tell whether they are male or female then?”

Whole movie is huge subversion in purest, jewest form.

17:36 Funniest thing is when women talk about society and how it's stereotyping women, just for them to later talk about cooking, dresses and other boring girlie stuff for hours with their friends.

Red dragon deceiving a woman, that's some Genesis Bible thing

1:49  the sad truth is that even the most cool/hot girlbosses of the 90s and 2000s were intended  as Trojan Horses for a subversive ideology that's end goal always was the current state of politics where we are demoralized and confused. They were characters designed to take advantage of us, not inspire.

Thanks bro. Your videos is what keeps me going.

Speaking of Walt Disney, his old Silly Symphonies were based. Especially the Flying Mouse.

When it comes to "girlbosses" in anime, I think both the intent and the execution count.
I mean, most so-called girlbosses in anime either have magic powers or are not even human.

Meanwhile, Mulan is meant to be a normal human with no superpowers. Yet she was still able to pull off all these insane feats.

There needs to be a collab between these 2 channels, they're so fucking goated.

10:48 I love that censor omfg. "They come in and [LOVE] everyone!"

Women when Mulan goes to war: 😁🤩😚
Women when someone mentions drafting women: 😶🤮😅

The Lord Farquaad video was not taken down. What happened is that they copyright claimed it and all the ad revenue will go to DreamWorks.

as a kid i never noticed them literally changing the way her jaw was drawn in an attempt to make her suddenly appear more masculine… the propaganda was so blatant even back then 💀can’t have anything

also yay [LOVE] is back

Do you guys see now how Leftist propaganda in movies has been going on a long time?  Just about everything we know, our whole lives, has been through the lens of Marxist Leftist propaganda.

As someone who’s climbed a pole like that, the weights make no sense.

Herb Sorel won in the end.

Mulan getting the arrow in that scene admits something based, that women can only win if they change the rules to their advantage and tell no one about it, so the others keep playing by the old book and naturally fall short compare to them.
