Dont forget to stream MY SONG of the summer not theirs! when it comes out during the winter! Stay Summery

Then it's about their EX who we neither know or care about. 👏

Popular opinion: the song of the summer shouldn't be a crappy love song.

And they’re all like “my boyfriend cheated on me…. So I’m gonna smaaaaaash his car and become a lesbian”

Remember people, if your song can't be used in an edgy gacha edit or an absolutely godly oc animatic made by a 16 year old, it's not the song of the summer

‘did i just write the song of the summer?!’ no darling, you just wrote a song in the summer

5:28  no but Halloween would have been the perfect time to release that! Aka this month

These r like the royalty free pop songs that netflix shows use to describe exactly what’s going on in the B-roll of the scene

Let’s be honest, these are all songs that would be in the background of a Roblox tycoon

tbh i dont wanna listen to those break up songs or songs about needing no man like i wanna listen to songs like lush life, thats about living life to the fullest in the summer, and when i was younger id dance out in my backyard to it with my friends

Not Collen coming in with her damn ukulele and song about grooming, only for that to be the song of the summer.

The real song of the summer is the Phineas and Ferb intro.

10:11 the way his face lit up so fast is taking me outttttt 😭💔

Basically all of these people: “Guys, i just wrote the song of the summer!!!” starts singing a generic uncreative song that’s either about their ex or.. well their ex

i swear down, in these kinds of videos, they're ALWAYS in their car, never somewhere else😭

He took the words right out of my mouth. I was thinking the same thing about all these songs being basic white girl songs. The songs are all the same Olivia Rodrigo style, break up songs. They're not the worst songs ever, but there's nothing special about them that would make them stand out.

The song if the summer is "Toxic gossip train" 😂

The song of the summer should be either about:

- getting high
- parties, fun parties
- hanging out with friends and do stupid stuff

- No plans for the summer, just alone and rotting inside your room (but with such a vibey and up beat tune)

or like, just another depressing song with that upbeat tune to it. or maybe just a really upbeat and energizing tune, I love catchy energizing tunes personally.

6:30 i'm not actually cringing with this one. she reminds me of myself when i would sing in the mirror getting ready for school in the morning
