Very underrated city

I'm living in Yokohama and I ❤ this wonderful city

Hello from Bucharest, Romania - a huge underrated city in Europe:)

I LOVE JAPAN ❤️ ALWAYS. MY FAVORITE PLACE IS YOKOHAMA.

It is incredibly beautiful. Hopefully one day I'll be able to visit.

Great channel with extremely useful content. I love your itinerary ideas and they have been helpful when planning my trips.

Your website is also excellent. My go to resource when planning a trip to Japan.

Moving there this september. This video came handy

Yokohama resident is here.
Yokohama is effectively a district of Tokyo.

Because of this, it is often mentioned in that context within Japan.
It's residents are treated in the same category as Tokyo residents.

Many Yokohama residents commute to Tokyo, so the size of its downtown is comparable to that of a city of two million people. However, it is significantly larger than other cities in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
Yokohama's Chinatown and port area are familiar tourist destinations in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

On the surface, Yokohama may look like a big city, but its density is much lower than Tokyo, and there are forests and fields on the outskirts. There is also a beach in the city, so I moved there for the spaciousness.

Top 5 Yokohama no.1-5: just live there. The city's location is the best to visit casually other attractive areas: Tokyo,  Kamakura, Shonan, Hakone & Izu. Most parts of Yokohama is nearer to Haneda airport than Shibuya and Shinjuku.

Great info 👍🏻 Thanks

pls do more on Northern Japan (Tohoku region)

just returned from Yokohama, definitely plan to spend at least a full day there if you can. Beautiful City

I would recommend Yamate without a doubt, and it is fairly close to Yamamashita Park. Not only a beautiful place, but it also has so much history!

Great intro. Thanks

I like the intro

In WW2 the Red Brick Warehouse held American POWs

I never liked the expression "you want to experience traditional Japan but you can't go to Kyoto" because thre is a lot of traditional Japan everywhere if you look for it as Chiba, Saitama and the Northern Region (Tohoku).

Pls make a Akita and morioka one

AMO TANTO GIAPPONE.
