They turned boy brands to girl brands and the girls didn't show up

One of my favourite jokes at the moment is:
How do you make $12 million?
Give Kathleen Kennedy $4 billion.

Disney/Hollywood: "This movie isn't for you, boys/men".
Men & boys: "OK, we won't watch it then."
Disney/Hollywood: "How dare you not watch our slop not made for you!  Come back and support us, peasants!"

"Lonely, Gaming-obssessed group"
Yeah, good luck getting the boys back with that attitude Disney. The condescension is through the chart already.

Wait you mean telling your core audience you hate them for half a decade makes them leave?! Omg Disney must be soo shocked.

Disney bought a steakhouse, turned it into a vegan cafe`, and are wondering where all the customers went. Rather than putting meat back on the menu, they're trying to guilt-trip everyone into liking tofu with the threat of 'being bigots' if they don't.

I never knew what a Mary Sue was until Disney bought and ruined everything it touched.

Brii Larson outright said that captain Marvel was not for men and they listened… Disney have no right to be surprised

I don't understand...they said that it was Not. For. Me. I believed them.

You can't really define chasing a group out with pitchforks and torches while calling them creepy and toxic as "Losing them," Disney.

'I'm an expert at controlling my anger because I do it infinitely more than you!" She raged

They didn’t loose men, they deliberately pushed them away. Suck it Disney, you screwed up. Until the leadership that brought this on is completely replaced my time, money, and attention will go elsewhere

Wasn’t that the WHOLE POINT of buying Marvel and Star Wars, to capture the male audience? And then they turned them both into girl brands. What was the point?

"Lost?" They denigrated, rejected, and actively repelled boys and men for the last decade and a half. NEVER GOING BACK.

Disney, "Come back, we're not done disrespecting you."

Yeah… no. Just no. My wallets closed forever, Disney! You got the audience you wanted so much and look where that got you!

I still don’t think Disney will turn it around. They can’t help themselves.

They scream "not for you" then cry when the majority of the money flow disappears

Kathleen Kennedy said "Luke Skywalker is unrelatable."  The head of Star Wars said that... about the greatest cinematic hero of all time.  That tells you why Star Wars died.

It's wild that they have no idea where they went wrong. It's like they're living in a different reality.
