Maryborough is well worth a visit. Beautiful, and you can’t do it in a weekend. So many lovely places to eat. Just drive around and look at all the restored Queenslanders. Fantastic place to visit

Terry, two very grateful viewers here - living vicariously through your videos. Our turn will come when 95yo Mum & 97yo Dad decide to "up stumps", until then we care for them 24/7 in their home and enjoy "travelling" with you, while our van quietly rusts in their drive way....sigh..... Wow. I can think of only a few things you missed in Maryborough, the War Memorial walk in Queens Park with it's interactive statues, including Duncan Chapman., and the city street bronze pieces celebrating past heritage shops.
Other than that, you captured the place very, very well....great job....Well done.

They have an amazing and forward-thinking council and townsfolk.  The toilets are worth a visit alone but the book bank looks fabulous too.

Drove in that place 28 years ago to have dinner at "Sizzlers" on our way to Mission Beach We had a very bad experience with our meal and never ever drove into it again ! After watching your video  I will definitely  drop in fir a goood look next time heading to Cairns Its so full of history  and that loo is to die for 😂 ❤

thanks Jeff, I'll have to add that toilet to my itinerary on my next big lap as the first time after my super ran out, I went back on Centrelink and time was limited but in February I get the age pension so I can relax with no rush and see more of these places that you're visiting now so thank you.🚌👍

I was up that way recently, staying with a friend who lives near Gympie.  Beautiful area, love Tin Can Bay. Haven't made it to Maryborough, next time for sure, just for the loo's! 😅 A great detour is to visit the Dickabram Bridge, second oldest bridge in Australia.....great little spot and there's free camping there too. Plus stop at the Theebine Pub, not far down the road,  it's fantastic, a gem. Enjoy 😊
