A man clothes shopping - straight in, grabs the exact clothes he wants, pays and leaves. All in 30 seconds. Lol😅

Whenever I go travelling for more than a couple weeks, I find a new appreciation for Perth when I come home. Everything seems brighter, I take notice of all the things that make it nice, and all the little things that make it possibly the only place that will truly feel like home.

There’s no place like home, There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home…

Some things have improved in Australia over time, like social attitudes towards things. But in terms of economic mobility, aspiration we've gone backwards.

I love Australia. But I also love the buzz of SE Asia.  I’ll walk the dog around the neighbourhood in Oz and often see no people.

Well today was beautiful Wayne. Sunny and 21 and was out and enjoying the ocean view with my coffee in Perth as a local like you. I did have a wry smile at the Sunday sess comment. As we are of similar age, the Sunday sess was always a thing when I was in my teens and twenties😂

Love the title for your video,  because as much as I start my slow travels next year, and will be back in Perth irregularly for the next few years, WA will always be my home base and all the wonderful benefits that being an Australian, afford me

Coffee, Wayne, arrived in Australia during the gold rush. During the temperance movement in Melbourne in the late 1800's there were "Coffee Palaces";  many storied buildings full of glamour. To try and keep people out of the pubs. Isn't history amazing...... the  Melbournians, thanks to their Italian immigrants, still have a love affair with coffee. Great to see you looking healthier again. Cheers, Muffy.

My parents wanted to move us to Australia when I was about 13 or 14… They were pretty serious. They did some preliminary investigation. My mom, a registered nurse, was wanted. My dad, an air traffic controller, was not. I think I’d probably have had a healthier and more stabile life if we’d managed to emigrate.

I havnt been in perth for 5 yrs I remember that star she's insane guitarist incredible she still there. Good on you for showing her

Good recovery..glad to see ya back

Oh man, how much did I enjoy this? A lot, that's how much. So many familiar places even now (I lived in Perth for a few years in the early 80s), your wandering around Northbridge talking about the pub culture and the local bands almost brought tears to my eyes. I'd forgotten just how much fun I had then. And the blue skies, the laid-back friendly people. Wonderful.

So good to see you back on!

Great to see you happy in Perth 😊

We spread the love of queuing to the other side of the planet, what an achievement! 🇬🇧

Home is home, and you can appreciate it and feel completely relaxed there, but it doesn't mean you need to live there. Lovely Perth/Aussie appreciation post and good to see you back at it.

I think you nailed it, Wayne. I'm in Europe at the moment, and you do notice the lack of courtesy at times. Even just small stuff, like queueing in an orderly fashion, using basic manners to servers and salespeople, and making room for someone coming the other way on a footpath. Australians do that stuff very well, I find.

Love when you're home and get out and about in the city. Cheers Wayne. 👍👍

Thank you Wayne ,once again your positivity shines..with such negativity in the world today, your are such breath of fresh air..thank you, looking forward to your next adventure🙏

On things for sure Wayne, if your going to have a heart attack, this is the place to be!

10:17 I'm Swedish and I've only had pleasant experiences with Australians. I used to have an Australian boss back in 2016
