The anime needs a remake

Watching this in my early teen years unspoiled was insane

I was 10 watching this anime the first time and thought it was one of the greatest short animes ever. About 2 years later I read the manga and rewatched the anime and was heartbroken.

I remember crying to all of their deaths and I didn't even think Tatsumi could die.  The ones I took too hard was lubbock (massive crush on him) and sheele.

I felt like Akame ga kill anime was so rushed, even the interactions.

Honestly akame ga kill taught us all the lesson of "never get attached to a anime character"

The only reason i wasnt even affected was due to the fact no character stuck with me, but tatsumi dying was something I DID NOT expect

(Note the manga ending is "better" if you want mfs to live)

The deaths that hit me most were
1) Chelsea (my fav character even if she got 3 eps)

2) Bulat (just didn't expect him to die so early)

3) Lubbock (bro didn't even get the chance to confess, and Tatsumi didn't even tell Najenda that Lubbock loved her)

Turns out HGC was canceled due to low sales wich sucks as I grew to like Akame ga kill a lot and the anime while on paper it seemed fine upon rewatching the deaths just happen so quickly that it doesn't even give you time to invest in the characters maybe if white fox had told the audience we're going on break until the manga finishes then went back maybe we could've got something special and akame ga kill wouldn't have been forgotten and may HGC would get a proper ending and not fall due to low sales.

Ngl I like Lubbock's death scene so much more in the manga. He was relentlessly tortured but never cracked, killed the prince, like actually beat him in a 1v1 AND ALMOST ESCAPED USING SHAMBALLAH but sadly didn't know how to use it and teleported into the worst place possible

The only thing which I was so fucking disappointed was Esdeath's death both in the anime and manga ,
If you ask  me i prefer the anime ending over the manga's ending ,  the anime showed  justice to Esdeath's feelings for tatsumi .but whereas in the manga, Esdeath's feelings for tatsumi was considered as trash and ignored her feelings  and she died all alone regretting  that tatsumi couldn't be on her side .

the anime has a special place in my hurt but i read the manga sometime last year and it still dumbfounds me how much better it is.

Watched the entire anime for the first time from 5 pm last night to 11 o'clock this morning. Real sad boy hours over here.

The manga, esp. at the end, had some of the coolest fights and armor designs I had ever seen. I can't think of anything that tops it.

I ended up reading the manga right around the time COVID started.  It definitely had the same edginess as the anime, but I liked the second batch of villains that we never got in the anime.  That clown dude was creepy.  I still need to read Akame ga Kill 0 one day.

I remember watching this anime a few years ago and i cried the river of tears when the villagers were celebrating tatsumi going out and saving the capital without knowing that he sacrificed himself saving the people, so i decided to buy the manga and it's peak

Happy Birthday. Was a good watch. As a non Manga reader, I felt the anime was good and solid even though the ending felt rushed. However this is one of the few animes I finished and just had to sit and digest in solitude. It really had substance, and the ending was (while rushed) still an absolute holy sheet wow factor. In conclusion thanks for your time and effort on this video and Akame is 100% best girl.

7:09 I got u bro, remember in the manga when Mine asked Tatsumi if Esdeath did any weird stuff with him when she captured him and Mine ends up kissing him? In the final chapter (I think?) Akame revealed that Mine and Tatsumi had sex with each other BEFORE Tatsumi turned into a dragon and Mine got pregnant, a lot of people seem to overlook that.

9:03 i remember enjoying both these frames to put as my wallpaper lol

Akame ga kill I love it honestly the death’s actually hit me and felt it the death were a little rushed and series should’ve been longer but the series it self I enjoyed it

This anime got me to search out other anime when I was 9 having seen it on adult swim. The last episodes put me into a slump for weeks but I thought I understood the bittersweetness ending and just accepted it. If only I knew the ending wasn’t as painful as they made it out to seem, especially the mine death that one did me in the most.
