Mika had to wait 96 races to be a race winner in '97, before being World Champion in '98 and '99.
WHAT A LOVELY NUMBER SEQUENCE!!

That image of Checo with his arms wide open as fireworks go off in the background is iconic and will be one of those lasting images F1 fans will see forever

I will never get tired of Checo's last to first drive

Checo’s win will never be forgotten 👏 His drive from last to first was amazing

Normally drivers who's been in F1 for more than 10 years would've possibly given up hope of ever winning a F1 race, but Checo's 2020 Sakhir drive will be a long-awaited record to be remembered. Just shows no matter how long you've been in F1 or whatever the race throws against you, there's always that one spark of hope to win a race

A week before Jenson won his first grand prix, he appeared on Top Gear where Jeremy Clarkson remarked that Jenson hadn't won a race up until that date. One week later, Jenson won in Hungary.

If Carlos Sainz wins this year, he'll come in second on this list. Currently at 141 races.

Edit: He finally did it! Only took him 150 races.

Sergio’s 190 races until his first win is definitely one of those records that should never be broken

Checo's last to first drive was just amazing to witness 🙌

I remember I watched the Sakhir GP a few more times after that day, I was extremely happy to finally see Checo winning a race.

Everyone knew that  1st is gonna be Sergio. Long 10 years....

04:53 There. Look at Kimi. Happy for Giancarlo and no problems applauding his rival with his win.
Pure class. I will miss Kimi.

The fact that Perez waited 190 races for his maiden win and though it was a long wait and the fact that Perez stood on the top step of the podium after waiting probably a decade it must have been the best day and moment of his career and the epic recovery drive from Perez shows Sergio’s patience but also his skill behind the wheel of a F1 car

Checo's first win is a great example of not giving up; no matter how the situation is.
At the moment, he thought it would be his last chance.

Perez will never forget his first win

Hopefully Sainz can make it on this list soon. He deserves a win.

As a mexican, I cried when Checo crossed the line with the chequered flag

Checo's win from Last to 1st was a Cinderella Story no one would've believed if it wasn't recorded! He deserved his maiden win

These were truly legendary drivers! Hope we get some more diversity this season like in the old days😌

"That didn't work Michael, you've hit the wrong part my friend."
