For that pulley thats anlged down now, they sell replacement bushings for the end that is under the black plastic cap.  If you werent aware.

The pulley you show at 2:40 mark uses a 6303 bearing 17x40x12 mm

I cut the side out with a lathe and pounded in a new one and tacked a washer on top. Does anyone have a link to the parts breakdown on this deck? Seem hard to find more then blades belts and spindles for it. Mine has the leaning tensioner arm problem and i need the bushings

I have a 25 year old LX277AWS with a 48C mower deck... the double pulley has two bearings in it, one on top and one on the bottom... I just got a good look at mine after it started making some loud squealing noises... pulled the mower deck out and I could see the top bolt canted up against the top pulley... got the big bottom nut off to pull the bolt out... only thing left of the bearings was the outer rims.

Not sure what you mean by "staked"... definitely pressed into the center... there is a ridge where the bottom of the bearing will stop against...same with the other side.

I plan on getting two new bearings, the spacer, and the bolt... hopefully that will work without having to get the double pulley itself which costs around $165... I assume that it would have the bearings and spacer installed, but I'm not sure.

Too bad there isn't any easy way of greasing the bearings... I guess I should be glad it lasted as long as it did !

Can you make a video of just the correct way to hook up the 2 belt tension rod SPRINGS! And how to attach the "arm", part #9 in the parts diagram. That "arm" broke 3 times on my GX335  48" deck. Bought the machine new in 2004. Last time after just 1 month it broke. Original lasted 14 years, 1st replacement lasted 4 years, 3rd replacement --- I month.

What is the difference between a regular 48” deck and a 48” C deck?

What is the shaft that had the nylon bushing that you turned around to raise the wheel called? That is the problem with my 54C. The shaft leans the wheel down which makes the spring just rub on the drive belt during operation which eventually shreds the mower drive belt (not the deck belt). I need to change that shaft. Thanks for any information or name or parts numbers you can provide!

What site do you suggest for OEM parts for this specific deck? Are there any aftermarket that will work fine to save money in your opinion?
