A month ago I set myself an admittedly VERY ambitious goal: to write six more books in my series of short, spicy fairy tales in six months so I could cover the gap while I moved and am paying two mortgages at once. Unfortunately August ended up being both busy and very sad when we unexpectedly lost a member of the little fur family.

I am so sorry for the loss of your cat. 😢 When my kitty boy Titus died suddenly in December, I was a mess. I cried non-stop for nearly a week and couldn’t go to work. Something my mom said to me helped, and that was ‘You gave him a wonderful life.’ Despite what Capalia had lived through prior to becoming your kitty, you gave her a wonderful life.

I’m so so sorry to hear about your loss. Cats are beloved and deserve everything we can give them.
Just know if you ever feel like you need to take a break, you are always allowed to do so. Your videos are super helpful to me in my writing practice and I know that I’ll still come back to watch even if you needed to take some time to recover.

I am so sorry for your loss!!! 😭Despite everything she went through, she was loved by you, and she knew it. You did everything you could. Never apologize for the grief, because it's all the love you have for her inside you still. The older pets are always easier to brace for. We have a good track record of cats living to 18+ as well, and the youngest loss we had was 12. I can't even imagine the pain of losing one under 5. Please take care of yourself.
