Personally I read the Six of Crows first. I wasn't confused and I really enjoyed it. I would say 4 stars, Great, entertaining, 2nd book was the best one!! The action and tender moments were Uugh Perfect!

I need your attitude to unhauling because I could never 😂 I get far too attached. My heart broke a bit when I saw the Samantha Shannon there - adore The Priory of the Orange Tree 😢

3:42 the new covers are so real of you, the original ones as so beautiful

Girl you will be shocked at the book prices here in Aus 🥲 unless you shop at big w, Kmart or target.
I left heaps of books at home and my parents bring me a suitcase with my picks each time they visit ❤

How exciting for you!! I live in New Zealand ❤❤

Six of Crows duology  is Leigh Bardugo's best work in my opinion. I had an audible credit and I decided to try it out bec there were six different narrators doing the voices so I was deeply immersed in the story. It was like watching a movie in my head! You don't have to read the Shadow and Bone trilogy to understand. I tried reading that after soc and only finished the first book (bc it was thru audible). SaB feels a little too YA to me. SoC is darker and more complex. Please give it a try! Also, you can skip the prologue. Its become sort of a meme in the fandom. Justice for Joost and his mustache lol. Just start on chp 1.

You shouldn’t worry, Leigh Bardugo has an extremely easy-to-read writing style.

I didn't love The Night Circus. People said it was all vibes and no plot and I agree. I couldn't get through it without the audiobook, which I LOVED :D I shoud probably unhaul my copy at some point

I dont think i would buy new hardbacks only to get rid of them so soon. Why not go straight to paperback if you are  going away . Books are expensive as it is . NOT a criticism just wondering.

Ahh I'm also gonna move. I'm taking 4 books with me and my kindle the rest stays at home for now. I'll be back but I'll be living in Dublin for five months 😍 can't wait to browse some bookstores there

Another amazing video 💞🤗 also SO excited for you to be heading to Aus!! Will you be vlogging?? 🌞💕👀

❤❤❤

I wouldn't say Tress of the Emerald Sea is complex. It's just really slow to start and a little boring because it takes over half the book for the story to pick up. Which is pretty normal for most his books. So if you don't like slow burn books then I don't think you would have enjoyed it anyway.
