hi everyone! just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been supporting here and joining in on the live twitch streams! you guys rock! take care of yourselves :D

I used to listen to my best friend play Minecraft for hours at night just in the quiet. Just like this. It was a weekend thing where we would just chill in a call for a good 7 to 10 hours and he loved this one world we started back in January 2020. He passed away in a car crash along with his little sister back in April. These videos help me sleep at night. Makes me feel like he’s still around. I find it kinda stupid when I’ll say something like “be right back” when I leave the room for something while listening to this videos. It’s a reminder that he’s gone.

I like how cinematic this is. If anyone read the survival story; “Hatchet”, this feels just as sober and solemn as the novel. I love it.

I'm someone who needs some kind of background noises for sleeping. And this was perfect.

Sometimes I do these peaceful longplays and when I’m sad, scared or stressed, it calms me. I sometimes find my self wishing to be able to go into the game and just play the game as a long play, not worrying about taxes, sickness, war, disaster and famine, being at peace and happy.

Ah yes. Rainy mood plus spruce. I have just started watching but I know it's gonna be perfect. Thanks Waxxy. You the man

in this day and age when content are either all about the hype or about dramas, its always a breath of fresh air to see content creators like you, just building, chilling, and doing what you enjoy! cant wait to see more of your content and your streams! :>

i was gonna use this for background noise while studying but ended up just watching the whole video instead 😓

Oh my god, the no commentary and calmness with the music just gives me the most nostalgic feelings😫

alot of people who do videos like this dont actually know how to play minecraft, and its really refreshing to find someone who not only knows how to play, but also knows how to make it relaxing. as someone with adhd, depression, anxiety, and insomnia, this was perfect background noise for relaxing, and im so sad that i didnt find this channel sooner and in my times of need. sending you lots and lots of love from australia, Waxfraud. i hope nothing bad and everything good swings your way <33

I was super anxious (I tend to get anxiety attacks when I’m stressed) and I randomly found this. It’s super calming, and it reminds me of the days that I often play Minecraft with my friends and there’s always that one person who’s complaining about the rain and I’m like “oh stop being such a party pooper, the rain is fun!” Lmao

this reminds me about the good old days. That time I could play videogames for all day long. Nowadays, with work stress and etc, im not in the moody to play anything, and these videos are helping me with to recover this feeling

I can relate with this guy a lot when his pickaxe breaks he builds a new one. When he takes damage he makes sure he eats to regain his hearts so he can come back with his full strength, he started off with nothing when everyone around him seemed to be doing better than he was but that doesn't matter he focused on his own screen and did one task at a time. When dark were upon him he made sure that small light inside of him was still burning, he was the last to complain where he slept he cares where everyone else sleep and he would rather sleep in the rain.

I remember watching a video like this and got jumpscared awake because the player died by a creeper😭

You have an unbelievable sense of direction! I always get lost in Minecraft lol (Also, SO relaxing to watch a pro navigate the game. I wasn't nervous that you'd die randomly at all!)

This is a really nice video, genuinely felt relaxed watching this. That is until the adverts kick in 😂

I really miss this nostalgic silence so much. Those late late nights just building and mining and living. I’ve struggled with insomnia all my life and none of the three meds I’ve taken has truly helped me like this video. How bizarre the way the mind works. Thank you for a calming video <3

This helped me in an interesting way and I wanted to share. On minecraft, and honestly a lot of things in my life I struggle with perfectionism and enjoying things in the moment. I feel a lot like I have to do one thing completely done and perfect before moving on to the next but my brain really doesn’t work that way. Watching you play was a really cool experience- seeing you do a just the frame, then go mine, or decorate the interior while the exterior wasn’t finished or taking a treasure break- it was awesome, it showed me in a cool lil way that it’s okay to leave things unfinished to do something else and come back to it later. It had a really “enjoying in the moment vibe” instead of a rush to completion, and even though it was minecraft, I felt like you showed me that that way of thinking and working and playing was okay. Also seeing you do things differently than I would’ve thought was also super cool. Thanks for playing the way you do and showing that that’s okay :)

This looks likes such an interesting play-style—Peaceful mode, with the focus being building. I never considered that there could be other ways to play than just creative/survival. I will give playing Minecraft like this a go, it looks so soothing. Thanks for this video and opening my eyes to a whole new way of playing the game!

Honestly, I prefer watching people play Minecraft without them talking, literally yapping, because it's so safe and comfortable.
