My first memory that I could put a time stamp on was dad carrying me out the back door one night. He pointed up in the sky, showing me Sputnik flying overhead. Sputnik was lauched when I was 3.

I was 8months old crawling into a basket of clothes warm from the dryer and my dad seen me and I crawled out, he put me back in to take a picture and now I have a pic of my first memory.

I love this show. I’ve like most have always been an Earnhardt fan. I’ve also really appreciated Jrs. candidness with the personal struggles, I share in several but I have also peed in a closet but it was the wrong and neighbors apartment.

I grew up in Kansas Colorado, Nebraska, we used to go to Minden Nebraska at Christmas because every house was lit up all of the town, early 60s

My Dad was like Dale sr and I was like Junior. Except my Dad was a very dangerous fighter. ALL I WANTED was to be SEEN by my Dad. I can soooo relate to Junior..i see it in every episode that he talks about his Dad. It wasn't full of warm and fuzzies.
