Catching catfish with your bare hands?! This is wild 😳🐟🇺🇸
In this video, I react for the first time to “Catfish Noodling: Pulling Catfish from Clay Holes in the Banks of the River! The Old Fashion Way!”, and wow… this was one of the most unexpected outdoor traditions I’ve seen in America 😅✨
As a Spanish girl and European, I had no idea that catfish noodling was a real thing. The idea of reaching into clay holes in the riverbank and pulling catfish out by hand sounds both fascinating and terrifying at the same time 🇺🇸💛
What makes this even more interesting is that it’s done the old-fashioned way. It feels like one of those local traditions that has been passed down through families and communities, especially in rural parts of America where people have a strong connection to rivers, fishing, and outdoor life.
I love discovering these unique American traditions because they show a side of the United States that feels very different from big cities or famous tourist places. This is real outdoor culture, muddy, risky, surprising, and full of local history 🐟🌿
As a European reacting to American culture, this was definitely a culture shock for me. I can’t imagine putting my hand into a hole underwater without knowing exactly what is inside 😳😂
A huge THANK YOU for the request and for your support 🥹🫶 I truly appreciate every suggestion, every comment, and every video that helps me discover more of America through your eyes.
