I remember being like this woman when I was younger. It takes about 10 minutes of reading the Church fathers with an open mind to realize that the early Church wasn’t Protestant.

Appeal to Dad fallacy

Evangelical church fathers = Gavin Ortlund/Wes Huff
😂

She literally isn’t listening she’s just going through a Rolodex in her head of Bible passages she thinks proves her point. I feel so sorry for her

Bro she was just yapping and yapping like she has a PhD in yap from yapaversity

Absolutely NO refutation to any of Alex’s arguments.

I'm impressed with how respectful Alex was with her.

She immediately proved herself wrong bruh you can’t make this up 😂

@14:20

“What scripture do you use?”

“I don’t know, i actually have to ask my dad.”

Bro that killed me 😂

Lord have mercy. I used to be this person. You’re so patient, Alex. I had all these beliefs, although they didn’t come out my mouth so much. I thought Scripture was the sword meant to cut down all the things I didn’t believe, and that I was smart enough to swing it around at everything. Thank God for humbling me through the original revelation of holy Orthodoxy. May the Lord open her eyes, and help her see the truth.

I didn't know how much I needed an evangelical woman to politely debate me until today

This lady thinks she is smarter than she actually is. Because she can quote 10 verses that do not argue what she is saying.

“I do not permit a woman to teach”.

lmao this woman is selectively reading text

This lady had got to be in great shape with this level of gymnastics she does

She totally misses that "the Word" usually means Jesus (Logos). Also, she lied about Jesus taking back eating his flesh. He actually doubles down.
And, the blind man could not see Jesus mixing his spit with mud. He was blind until after Jesus put it on him.

Source: I made it up

Hilarious. No epistemic justification for her canon yet uses it arbitrarily. Insane

7:52 actually made me laugh hahahaha

23:43 it’s actually the opposite, he said “Does this offend you?… the words I have spoken to you — they are full of the Spirit and life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” If you just continue one sentence on it refutes you. He wasn’t just saying it as a metaphor, he is referring to the fact that ALL of his words are full of Spirit and life, you can’t just pick and choose what’s you want because it is a hard belief
