I recall hearing an interview of Steve Smith explaining that his son's name is Stevie - he was very adamant about the fact that they are NOT Jr. & Sr.

Landis  developed a  fuel  leak  and lost  fuel pressure  at the midway point   Engine  started  fluttering   badly   loosing power halfway down the  straightaways.    would of been  good   between  him and Allen   at the end   Landis's  driving suit was  fuel  soaks when he  climbed out  of the car .   pretty scary stuff .

I remember those super large tail tanks. 75 lap was no problem,didn’t need a open red flag.

Hoods messed up on rahmers car must have been a bull dozer from the start
