Coming from an AME Church background in the 1960s, I listened to Bishop Bonner every Sunday night and finally realized that I was hearing a gospel that differed from my upbringing. In September 1972, I went to Greater Refuge Temple and was baptized in Jesus' name. Although he has made his transition, those powerful messages continue to resonate with me. I never became a member of COOLJC, and eventually connected with another apostolic organization, but I respect and honor its teachings to this day. My sincere prayer is that COOLJC maintains its holiness principles and remains unaffected by the changing church age, all while standing in the unchanging presence of God.
