For about 30 years now, instead of winter we’ve had an extended autumn - and that lasts for nearly half the year. But the summers are really hot. Sometimes there isn't a single cloud for a month or even two. Though perhaps the last three years have been an exception.

Gratulacje

Congratulations in Poland is –gratulacje

End of course greetings from Warsaw
the most arrogant Varsovians are those who have lived in Warsaw for the shortest time

Well  come  to  Poland 5:00 Dark 15:30 :) you   will appriciate a summer  as we Polish do

w polsce mamy takie powiedzonko ... pierdo...l..nięty zawsze uśmiechnięty .... więc to chyba tłumaczy nasz codzienny wyraz twarzy xD

Poland is very good for self employed. I work as IT contractor, with this kind of jobs I can pay lump-sum tax of 12% plus around 11% of social contributions and that's all, slightly under 23% of tax. But it depends on type of services you provide, you can also choose between lump-sum, progressive scale or linear tax, depending on what is better/simpler for you. And of course there are downsides of that - in my case social contributions are not high as are calculated based on average salary, so even if I earn more I will not get better retirement, if I will get sick I will get lower benefits etc. And if you are a foreigner it may be harder to get a permit to open a business in Poland, of course citizens of EU are free to do it, and also Swiss, Norwegians, Americans and Ukrainians (temporarily) are allowed to. In case of other nationalities they usually need some permanent residency or similar status.

Oh, you can end up with incidents (like in Warsaw) where you meet something like a wild moose, since moose populations in some regions of Poland are pretty big. Or deer.

Wolves are showing up all around Poland as well, sometimes pretty close to settlements, but because humans have a history of hunting wolves, they still tend to be very cautious. But evidence of it is reasonably easy to find in many parts of Poland.

Also, at 2:08, this colorful duck is called a mandarin duck. It's not a native species in Poland, and it's actually pretty rare to see, outside of a few specific regions. It's mostly an Asian species.

Nothing bugs me more than.. bugs 😊

Why big part of Poland  dont like or hate Warsaw? 1. Policy, we are capital of Poland, state power is concentrated here, and people usually dislike authority 2.football...Legia 😉

Bro, it's just a variation of the single phrase "play" 17:00.

Śmiać się jak głupi do sera, uśmiechanie się bez powodu nie jest normalne i tyle w temacie
