Frank Sinatra's passing truly marks the end of an era. An era of magnificence.

As a distraught teen, the man's music did and still does make my day

Thanks for all you did, Mr Sinatra.

Frank Sinatra was a hugely talented man, but his life had it's highs and lows just like us lesser mortals. He did his charitable work in private which was to cause him to fall out with Jerry Lewis when both were doing a benefit concert for firemen. Sinatra wanted the amount of money they raised to remain confidential, Lewis couldn't understand this and used the occasion to drum up publicity for himself.  Lee. j. Cobb the great actor, had fallen into a long period of ill health and couldn't meet his huge medical bill. On leaving hospital he was amazed to learn that Frank Sinatra had paid his bill in full, Mr Cobb had never met Sinatra!..He phoned Sinatra up and thanked him for his help and asked why he had helped him..Mr Sinatra simply said...'I always admired your acting '..There's no doubt Sinatra helped many more people during his life, but mostly these acts of kindness were never made known to the public....A great man indeed.

RIP Mr. Sinatra.
Thank you for treasurers that you left the world.

Aside from the astounding talents singing/Acting....HE brought Black and White TOGETHER!!  Thank you Mr. Sinatra!! We are One!!

I bought my first Frank Sinatra LP when I was 18, in the late sixties, Mt Dad smiled and said, I'd grown up, able to appreciate good singing, great music. ❤❤

My late dad's favourite singer-and mine!

I like what Bing Crosby said about Sinatra: "Frank is a singer who comes along once in a lifetime, but why did he have to come in mine?"

I had the pleasure of working with Frank in the mid-70s. I NEVER was star struck by anyone. I walked into the studio and he was not there for a LIVE performance on TV. Since it was a closed set, no one was allowed in the studio except the crew, the band, and Frank. In walked Frank and you could tell the mood change in the studio. I was helping the audio engineer place mics for the segment. I was a tape operator/editor when I was asked to help. I stayed in the studio for his live segment and after the studio went dark, Frank went over to each crew member and thanked them personally. I had learned that Frank was a perfectionist and demanded perfection from anyone that worked for him. At the end of his performances, I handed him an edited videotape of his performances. He looked at me and said "wow, you work fast, thanknyou very much" he shook my hand  and said "it was a pleasure working with you" he asked my name and said "I will ask for you when I come back"
He made the crew feel important to his work.
He was the definition of a Pro.

Frank Sinatra could sing a phone book and make it a classic

Unfortunately in current day climate those times will never return and they remain great memories for most of us.

I can’t help but feel sad how many of these older people have passed. It makes me so sad 😢

I believe what Tony Bennet said to be true, "It was Frank's world. The rest of us just lived in it.".

One of the finest in show biz, thank you sir for all the great memories ❤🙏🏼

Gone, but will never be forgotten. Thank you Frank Sinatra from the Philippines.
