I loved the story of your education on Christianity as an adult. What an amazing point of view to get later in life and when you're on your own terms ❤❤

Hi star hope you had a good day

Oh wow, this is my first time seeing one of your videos—I love your book tapping style!!! The only one of these I've read is Intermezzo, and I really liked it! Probably my favorite Rooney. I will say, though, that it look me a second to get into. The writing style is really dense and stream-of-conscious-y, which takes some getting used to. I honestly almost DNFed it, but once I got into a rhythm with the prose and the story picked up more, I really loved it.

A great book is " Bury my heart at wounded knee " An old one but terrific   think the Author was D Brown

Crime and Punishment is a JOURNEY to get through, but it has held up as one of my all time favorites! I’ve longed to read more Dostoevsky since.

Your book hauls are my favourite! Great selection here - I’ve read a few of them, but East of Eden is up there as one of my faves that was required in my English class.  I know what you mean about the Sally Rooney books and how they make you feel 😅 I think a lot of the books I read evoke the same type of emotions and thoughts and I have to strategically plan out a lighter book in between haha. I’m intrigued by Letters from Underground - added to cart! I also have Crime and Punishment in my stack that I haven’t read yet either. I just finished the highly talked about ‘James’ by Percival Everett and loved it and I think that might be a good recommendation for you 🤔

Great video!  Kite Runner and East of Eden are fantastic. I tried Intermezzo, but I couldn’t get into it. I’ll probably try again later. Hope you enjoy them all!

For context, I think VE Schwab's pronouns are she/they, and I remember her talking about using the abbreviation "V.E. Schwab" as her author name because of the subliminal sexism in adult fantasy spaces, especially back when she first started publishing. So I think she goes by "Victoria Schwab" for her YA books and "V.E. Schwab" for her adult books!
