THE WEIGHT STAT IS HOW IT PULLS CREATURES! If you have a super weight araneo you can pull titanos and bosses with it!

Suddenly, the webbed up theropods at the entrance to Valguero's Broodmother cave makes a lot of sense

When they said the spider TLC was gonna be useful for ANY point of progression I thought that wouldn't happen. I'm SO happy I was wrong 😂

Three episodes in the span of two days syntac, two days!, you must be on ark steroids!

Your hitspeed is much faster when you are standing on a zipline.

Giga: NOOOOO IM THE STRONGEST THERE IS
TLC Araeno: Nah I knockout

You can also just trap it and then tame it with the Araneo. Stamina won't be an issue anymore - though I’d still level it up to 3k or 4k. and you can save all your Longneck Rifle ammo and durability; you won't even need the jellyfish venom anymore. It's insane!

Syntac said “IT’S WEBBING TIME!” And then webbed all over the place.
The Giga stood no chance.

never in my life would i ever think i'd see a slow persistence hunting pursuit of a spider stalking a high level giga. And the giga is RUNNING. Every time the giga stops to catch its breath it turn to see the weird guy riding a spooder just behind. this is hilarious. it just can't get away.

The answer is yes. The Araneo is by far the best torpor inducing creature in Ark right now, as its spit has a damage to torpor ratio of 1:6, whereas most other creatures have one that is 1:3.

As a note: Tranq Arrows (regardless of weapon) have a ratio of 1 to 4.5. So the Araneo is actually better than anything that isn't a Dart (or equivalent) when it comes to how safely it can KO things.

Now y'all see why it was worth having Araneo in 1st place in the creature vote.

Ok I'm sold this is ludicrous

When you tested on the stego at the start it didn't aggro, so that means you could also drag passive tames into traps so you don't have to follow them around. That's somewhat handy.

The cave spiders are still tameable as of 22/5-2026. I did a dino wipe, went into the ragnarok swamp cave, and tamed several spiders at cave levels.

14:59 "bro's afraid of the itsy bitsy spider"😂

AS for the large creatures being unable to be moved...that is wrong. That is actually tied to the WEIGHT stat. With a high enough weight stat, you can have a quetz LIFT a titano. If I remember right, it took like 9k weigh capacity.
