A terminally ill, very fragile man gets out of his bed, probably really tired and in a lot of pain, to SING to us. In the end of the video he says: I still love you. And then some idiots here dare call him a pervert and are ready to send him straight to hell just because of his sexual orientation. I have no words to describe how angry and sad this makes me feel.
I can't wait until I have the money to travel to his old home and pay my respects. And by pay my respects, I mean sit there and cry for an hour listening to his music.
Freddie was such a loving soul. His sexuality gave him the freedom to be who he was. God bless him that he was free enough, to follow his heart. Freddie's voice and soul will touch many lives, long after we are all dead. We need more like him on this earth. And to all you haters, you wish you had 1/10 his talent.
I was fortunate enough to see Freddie Mercury Queen in concert at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in 1977 or 1978..I could not believe the energy and the Zen in that place..We were on out feet immediately. I was 16yrs old. I feel blessed to have been there. Oh, what a night..3 encores no less. Rest in Peace my dearest Freddie Mercury..you were simply breath taking,
God does not care about your sexual choice - as long as no harm comes to the other person. It has NOTHING to do with Mr. Mercury, the artist or human. He comes off as an honest, kind, generous, precocious, and talented man, that died from a plague. He brought happiness to my radio audiences, whatever City I worked in. End of story. Bless you, Freddie. Wherever you are, I hope they have a piano and a few people who appreciate talent.
I think that the sheer volume of positive comments on this video and outpouring of love for Freddie and all he gave us is the loudest answer to people who have posted homophobic hate. Religious belief does not excuse hate, it is merely an excuse by the hater... Thank you Freddie for all that you brought us and to his family for raising such a kind, generous and loving person... It is obvious his family were immensely proud and he was a real credit to them...
