Amazing, tried your concepts and raised my 88mph to 103mph in about 10 minutes of trying. my avg now is around 100-101 mph. perhaps after more practice, I can get this up to 105. thx for your tips. I never thought about minimizing rotation and just letting my arms release.
this may not work with irons, but it definitely works with the driver.

This is the "No turn, cast" drill that Monte Scheinblum taught ...
Works very well for excessive body movement

So interesting. I literally just got home from the range and working on trying to weight shift and getting the club down in the slot before rotating through. I have always struggled with fast hips and syncing my downswing (possibly over rotating as well) And i just couldn't get anything to sync up. Inconsistent strikes and start lines and forcing the club to release. But towards the end i just said let's see if i could just sync up the arms atleast, so arms swings only and not "rotating" my hips (they obviously still do). All of a sudden better strikes, swing didn't feel so long that i needed to time weight transfer with release. Started with 50% swings and gradually ramped up and strike and "timing" was still intact and not out of whack. Felt ackward not "feeling" like i was engaging my lower body but can't argue with results. I will take the insights from this video and try to incorporate some of the release tips in the next range session as the majority of shots were solid but push fades. Thanks for making the video and keep up the good work!

Interesting video. There always seems to be a lot of contradictory golf instruction out there (ie release with the hands vs lead with the lower body). Do you think the recommendations in this video are good for some golfers and not others? I’d think someone who gets stuck from the inside this might be helpful. If someone is way over the top already I’d think this would be bad for them. Can you clarify?
