I've had this plugin since it came out.  Now I know how to use it.

The fabfilter eq is not an expensive plug-in for everything it’s capable of.  Definitely the best of its kind.

6 years after you made this tutorial you're still saving souls 😁
Great stuff man, exactly what I was looking for. ✌️

finally a tutorial with a good vocal track as the example..

2 awesome features you forgot: 1) click the little 'cog' icon next to the Q and it will slightly narrow the Q automatically as you boost, like an API EQ does. 2) The 'A' next to output volume auto-adjusts the output gain to be the same as you boost or cut frequencies. 👍

Just got my hand on the Q3, I needed a little tutorial to clear it up. You gave me exactly what i was looking for with a clear and calm voice!
THANKS SAM !

I can feel how happy you are because of the update.

This should be the standard for tutorial videos.

I'm going to be opening up Pro Q 3 and going through your video multiple times until I get the hang of some of these features you mentioned that I had no idea existed. Thank you Sam!

This was very informative so I've upvoted. I checked your channel and have noticed you dont have thumbnails when you look: excited, amazed, scared, surprised, hit by a car, worried, angried, abducted by aliens, offended, speechless or just plain dumb so I've subscribed. With a bell ;)

My favorite non instrumental plugin. I am Dutch and so is FF. I remember getting early access to this new little blue synth from FF, and not really being a "synth guy" how easy it was to work with it. Then I tried Volcano, and got to see the genious behind the whole FF "mantra". They make things look very easy (the interface), and yet you seem to be able to "dive deeper" and deeper into their plugins, as if I evolved together with the vst. Since then I was a huge fan. So many times I thought, "I'll give Timeless" another 15 minutes of my life...and 5 hours later still having fun and experimenting. Now I judge all other vst's to this standard (do they take me deeper and deeper, and do I have difficulty putting them aside). Thank you for the clear and down to earth uploads. Very best wishes to you,  and all the other positive music lovers our there 😊❤🎉

Thanks a lot, dude! Didn't know half of these tips even existed 🙏

Quickly became one of my favorites this guy

This is an incredible tutorial. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such an easy-to-understand way. I will certainly get more from this EQ because of what I learned here. Awesome!

Keeps you creating ;)

Excellent, clear and concise.  The best Pro Q3 tutorial on YouTube.

Brilliant tutorial - thank you

This is by far the best explanation of how to use FabFilter EQ I’ve ever watched. Great work, thank you!

Currently in audio engineering school at SAE institute. Love your vids. They are extremely helpful bro. Subscribed!
