Sir, this is the most informative video I have found concerning the after market fix for the 'dead' battery issue with the switch. I just got my switch back from the dealer after they installed the parts as you discussed in this video. I am extremely happy with the solution you have presented. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
One of the best explanation videos by far I have seen. This was informative up until I couldn't see the wire hook up on the perco switch and where the Noco Gen 5 was hooked up on the battery. That is what I am trying to see how it is wired into the battery and the ground.
I have a 2023 21ft 230 switch. My amp went bad also. The dealer has had the boat for over a month trying to figure out the draining battery issue. After a year I had to replace the battery, at 300 bucks....which I am still fighting BRP about. They ordered a new amp. Also they told me the bilge and blower switches were reversed from factory, luckily I did not blow myself up! Another thing I just learned is that bilge from the factory is NOT automatic which makes zero sense to me. So if you leave your switch in the water...you better cover it! Thanks Mo for that great video!!
Thank you for this. My husband and I are looking at the 18ft Cruise on Monday and there will be a rep from the company there to do a river test with us. I like knowing about this in advance. Thanks, again.
Mozambique, I had the same problem I was on the waiting list for over a year finally got the 21ft 240hp switch and 1 trip out great on the battery and start up, then 2nd trip about 5 weeks later sitting at the dock and BOOM, nothing no power, I did not leave anything on, so I was not going to let that ruin my day with 4 other buddies to go fishing. Ran up about 2.5 mile from the dock and picked up another battery, Then the next day took it straight back to my Sea-Doo dealer and exactly what you said the Amp and the Stereo problem. I did purchase the dual batteries that they offer, but they were waiting on parts before I picked it up and took it out. Now it's at the shop as we speak to put the dual batteries in, but now because of your AWESOMENESS of supporting others, I am going to have them put the same set up you have... Thanks for the information. And sorry about the long story...
Great video! Nice clean install. Doesnât it make you a little upset that Sea doo didnât provide all of this with the boat? I have a 2011 Sea doo Challenger 210 SP and it came with a deep cycle battery and a battery selector switch, I want to add a second battery for accessories.
